Our privately owned ranch has been in the Urry family for three generations. Base camp is situated in the heart of South Africa in the Free State Province, a mere 30 minutes’ drive from Kimberley.

We also offer many concession areas throughout Africa, hunting the smallest game species, the Blue Duiker, to the largest, the African Elephant. With over 45 species of game, South Africa is truly a world-in-one country and Liam Urry Safaris will guide your memorable experience of it. We give the trophy hunter an opportunity to collect game species which are endemic to most of Africa.

Having grown up on the family ranch, Liam has always been a hunter at heart. Enjoying and learning from stories around the fireside as a young boy is what hunting has always been about for Liam. At LU Safaris, we believe it is the heritage, the camaraderie and the passion shared that makes a safari a living memory.
Liam has built a likeminded team that brings your safari together so that it is everything you dream of. Every team member contributes to the experience and ensures that all your needs are catered to. Our chef will prepare local cuisine and will even include venison from your very own harvest.
